drawing on walls.

ok im decorating my kids bedrooms this week, and im gonna be drawing/painting some pics on there walls (fifi and spiderman) ive done the templates and already outlined some pics,

what can i use to do the outlines? ive got acrilic paint for the rest, would a felt tip pen be ok ??

or do i just need a really thin brush and do it with paint?

outline first in pencil, then do the all painting, then lastly use a thick felt tip pen to finish off the outlines.
also means you dont have to be that careful with your paint edges.
