PI Solicitor advice?
Hi guys,
Lying here in bed a bit stressed after having had an accident on Mon night, when a guy swerved off the main road into a side road (where I was waiting, stationary) and into my driver's side. I was braced and strapped into a stretcher and taken to hospital, but thankfully no fracture to my neck.
Mainly ligaments/tendons torn, sore back and injured shoulder - been in bed (headaches, tired and a bit dizzy) since Mon.
Privilige Insurance recognise I have right to make claim and have offered up their 'retained' solicitors, Cogent.
Having looked on this site I am worried that they are only about settling quickly and am tempted to go with a fully independent firm like Fentons...apparently Cogent pass £1000 +vat back to Privilige Insurance, but they claim neither the fee, nor the fact that they are retained will affect me at all. I am dubious and just wanted to know if I should use an independent solicitor and if anyone has any experience of using either Cogent or Fentons?
I just was to be deal with fairly..
Many Thanks Guys!
