I almost forgot to play the Walkers Britometer this week :eek:

    I got myself 40p off a 32.5g bag :D

By the way, has anyone else noticed that the SELs in most Ts say they are selling 34.5g bags when in fact they are 32.5g?

The £/100g price is wrong as a result but hardly worth chasing for a DTD :rotfl::rotfl:

Thank you for reminding me, I've just won a free bag. :j:j

funny thing is my daughter was working in a shop in pwllheli today and they sold out of wellies got stocks from other stores twice and there was lads buying girls pink wellys and flowery ones and putting them on in the shop. one lad ended up the only pair left were to small he wedged his feet in and could not get them of so he lifted his foot up for them to scan
    then hobbled out :rotfl::rotfl:

could not get this one up but it is funny...

I live near Glastonbury and during the nineties when it rained year after year my brother parked near the festival and sold about 2000 pairs of wellies in about 2 days. At the end of the festival the people who were going home by coach or train abandoned them at the station and 1 old farmer collected them all up, hosed them all down and sold them again next year. I went that same year and we had a caravan. When you stepped out in the morning the mud was up to the top of your boots within seconds. The children were about 8 and 10 and had a great time.

There is a girl outside having a rather loud conversation on the phone. Someone just asked her to keep the noise down a bit and she replied "do you mind, this is a private conversation"!!!!!!

Don't tell the whole street then lololololololol

Anyone had any joy with the sharwoods moc?

mine wouldn't scan, I thought it was because it was too small as i'd done it on half page rather than A4 size but Sa was really good and inputted the barcode and it said that coupon not valid yet!

I had a £1 off till spit so only paid 59p would have been better at 9p!!:D

wombled a 5p petrol coupon, 1st time I've had a result for a while!! LTF keeps beating me to it!!:rotfl:

Just had an email from my daughter who flew to Ibiza yesterday.
As she was sunbathing in the afternoon, someone stole her iphone from her handbag which was right beside her.
She'd used the hotel email to let me know why she's not been replying to any texts I'd sent.
    Hope she's insured :(

Oh no what a horrible thing to happen - hope she is insured
evening all. just wondered every time i use the cake coupons from the price flop mag they wont go through ,and a superviser has to be called to see the cakes. is this happening with everyone, and with all the vouchers. thanks

I have had problems with the cake coupons but I thought it is more down to what MrT class as a cake
2 good things for me today

First is that I succesfully reordered my pink shoes from kurt g and had a dispatch email within 3 hours of ordering :D hopefully they'll arrive tomorrow and I can "model" both pairs for y'all

The 2nd thing is a bit more long term than a pair of shoes.

I've registered on OU to do a degree. I've had a lot of inspiration from you guys recently, an email from them this morning and for some reason, a sudden desire for my parents to see one of their children graduate. Fingers crossed I can do it. Been a long time since I did any studying, especially on that kind of scale.

    Scary stuff :eek

Looking forward to seeing the shoes and I would highly recommend the OU - I loved doing my science degree with them, the only thing I didn't enjoy was the summer schools.
