In need of help having to post from my phone!! I was using my mac book earlier and it was playing up a bit - whenever I closed the lid if I wanted to do something else when I went back to it, it had frozen and took a good ten minutes before it would allow me to enter my user password. I went out earlier and have come back to use it and it won't even switch on??? The battery is full so it's not a power issue, I have only had it a month and am pulling my hair out now. HC or anybody else with a mac please help xxx

    Tenth Anniversary
just out of curiosity, what did you say when you took them back?
I also bought them too this morning and got caught out, was gonna put it down to experience but having second thoughts now i have read that you took them back.:rotfl:Also, did they mark your receipt? as i need it to hand over when i use the APG which it returned.

In my case, i just said I'd bought the wrong ones for my wife, I'm a bloke, what do you expect:rotfl:
They did mark the receipt but I've had this done before and it didn't affect the APG:)

MMW very sorry to hear about the toe situation (((hugs))) to you poor thing. I think I remember you saying that you had dropped something on your foot. The remarks from your DS made me smile as I guess mine would have said the same. I just hope that your appointment goes well on the 2nd August :A

Down to business then :D I did it right today ;) yay :j

3 lots of shopping in As.

First shop I was silly and bought 12 OJ and some smart price stuff total spend £13.35 minus £9.70 from my previous apg? so total to pay was £3.65. I've just got a apg? for £9.66 :j

Shop 2 was 10 yogs but I bought a couple of smart price items so total spend there was £4.24 after the multi buycame off. Got an apg for £3.69 :D

Shop 3 was 10 yogs and a couple of smart price bits total spend after multi buy was £4.53. Got an apg for £3.67
Thats me done for today and I won't be doing it again cos it is soooooo stressful :(:(
My Mr A only smallish store so doesn't have 10 varieties of corners so had to double up on some flavours. All in all though I am more than happy so thank you OP for this delicious find :A
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

If you have only had it a month then it is certainly under warranty- I would ring for help and insist that they fix/replace it. Hopefully you have everything backed up somewhere. Fingers crossed it gets fixed and doesn't drive you mad!

MMW - so very sorry about your toe. We will all send you happy and encouraging messages :o:A:)

I timed that well. Thank you Snap-ant for the mention. :o

Hi everyone. just a quick in and out.

As Snap-ant says, I'm going away till at least the 28th (I think, not 100% sure :o). Only in the job 2 weeks and get to go on-site to get a better idea of what our company does. Off to somewhere in Holland. Boss says it's the back of beyond where you've no chance of getting a mobile signal (sounds like a nagged hubby's dream come true :p); it sounds fun though.

Obviously, I most likely won't get to play the quiz. :(

I'll just have to try and be champion next month. :p

Thanks to all who kept sending the good wishes about the job, and the compliments on my quizzy skills. You guys really are the best.

    Take care, people. :)

    Ceriain :A

Well done, glad the job's going good.

You have to try a Nasi croquette when you are in Holland. You can get them everywhere in takeaway shops (bit like our fish and chip places!) - even in the back of beyond! Enjoy.
