I can't understand why you would bother to get the big lenors on a JTD when that also means you need 7 other items. They have the 42 wash ones on offer at T's for £2, so it works out the same??? (2 bottles = £2 for 84 washes) Although it does mean using 2 coupons. I can understand the logic on the orange one as they work out free.
Just wanted to point that out, as sometimes I think we make it more complicated then it needs to be..but then shopping these days is becoming very complicated.
Big thanks to all that tried the John Freda today, I for one appreciate all the efforts made together to understand and test a glitch. I do try my best not to just lurk and take, I think everyone can at least take the time to really say thanks and if I ever find anything I will tell you all first. I haven't taken part in the beer glitch as we don't drink it, but my MIL is very happy with her O/J and mullers.
I completely agree with what others were saying about people glazing over when you talk about what you've got, but then hold their hands out...one of my sisters is terrible, she's the closest to T's, but she did say to me once that I could get it for her..I didn't and I don't bother to tell her anymore. I have a close friend that I often help out, but when I try to explain things to her..I can see her struggling to understand it. I just wish I had one person in the real world that understood my stash building addiction.
I have decided to deposit some coupons on the shelves from all the left over T's mags that i got and I hope people get to use them before a member of staff finds them. Seems a shame to just chuck them out.0 -

£2.25 difference, jtd of £7.23
The items stocked in both stores and therefore compared were a total of £52.03 in A and £49.78 in Ms. So As give you back the difference between £52.03 and £49.78 less 10% (i.e. £44.80 which is difference of £7.23)
You got the difference back on the total of the compared products only
Your original receipt looks like it was for more than £90 when you total up the non-comparable items too. If you were getting the difference back on the non-comparing items it would have been more than £30 back

Very grateful we (or in my case, OH and DS are REALLY grateful) are to you, dcon_blue. A few pages back, someone did remind us all that it was you that told everyone and put a link in to your original post.:beer::beer::beer::beer:

Thanks to LTF I've managed to get another 6 packs of bavaria!!:T:beer:
I bought a sandwich to make up my £20 total and was a little disapointed to only recieve a BM for only £8.65:(,
Meaning I paid 35p for 24 beers!!:rotfl::rotfl:"He that lieth down with dogs shall rise up with fleas" Benjamin Franklin

AngelsMadv wrote: »You really should let your OH read them. I'm male (as I'm sure you all know) and have read them. As I said in my review on the 50-shades thread (can't find it now) I got much more from the books than the saucy bits. I almost ended up skipping those bits in book 3.
What I did get was the "remember you love your wife more than anything so tell her!" message that is underlying in all three books. I nearly cried reading it at some parts!:o
The books may be badly written, in terms of linguistic genius, but they send a good message if you take it for what it is. I'm not painting the BR red and strapping her up, but I did bring some flowers home the other night and the first thing I do now when I get home is give her a kiss. Used to be "start tidying up, mess with dogs, clean something, make tea, go on PC - oh, you're home" LOL.
Keep the fire lit, ladies! :A:rotfl::D
So am I getting it wrong when I get home grab her azz and say laterz baby!!;):rotfl:"He that lieth down with dogs shall rise up with fleas" Benjamin Franklin

other news, i am having to lose another toe:(. i am seeing the consultant on the 2nd aug to get a operation date. i dont know if you remember or you may have been skipping, but i dropped some garden shears on my toe, and having neuropathy in my feet i didnt realise. it was my son that notice the blood. anyway the wound has eaten away the skin and is down to the bone. so they belive this is osteomylistus, which is the same thing thing that had my other toe amputated.
my sons reaction was, "great, i can stay overnight at school". thats ok son, dont worrry about your mum will you!!!!life is like a loo roll. the nearer the end you get, the faster it goes.0 -
