None can be bothered to put in the legwork, which amazes me, especially as they don't have jobs etc... and some of them spend a few hours a day at the local coffee shop:eek::eek: A few have asked me to get them things when I go.
Now, I enjoy "sharing the love" but begrudge their laziness in getting things for themselves and then worse is their looks of jealousy when I can afford to treat my kids to special things.
After having this rant, I have completely forgotten where I was going with it :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Oh yeah, i'd say 99% of people on this thread are pleased with the "hauls" others have got. FK and Nikkilala, don't worry what others think, You can take pleasure in knowing you have helped someone else, and possibly given them a treat, that at other times, they might not necessarily afford:A:A:A:A:A:A:A:A
I so agree on how lazy some people are, an EX friend used to moan on and on about how skint she was - she was on the sick due to a bad back - she was happy to take away carrier bags of jelly, custard, OEP, Lenor from here but when I suggested she did it for herself she really wasn't interested and told me "its easier if I just let you do it then I can pick then up off you":mad:0 -

i am SO with you on that one. I have friends who are always asking me what I have been up to shopping wise and whats "trending" but none of them can be bothered to do the leg work, its always "oh, if you see this can you get it for me". They say "oh we dont have time". Uh, yes you do. You make time. I have to make time!
I get such pleasure from sharing things though. I have shared in supermarkets. I have shared in work. I have shared with family. I would never get and keep to myself but there comes a time when you do have to draw the line.
Its always such a delight to read peoples stories on here of sharing.
There is always one who wants to ruin it for everyone else. In my mind, thats just jealousy. I've not seen the Fb stff and TBH i'm not sure i want to

It was me who spent the day with FK yesterday. I've done my fair share of contributing to this forum including appearing three times on Martins show so I think I can be called a regular. However I've been having problems recently so not posting. My friend FK, feeling concerned invited me out for the day, teaching me lots of the tricks that you are all up to at the moment.
I got a load of shandy/lager and wanted to share it with FK but he wouldn't have it, he wanted me to take it and was genuinely happy for me when I said i'd had the nicest day out in ages.
I hurt my back recently and he carried all my shopping. This guy is a gent and without him I'd still be sat at home feeling sorry for myself. I know i'm not the only one he has helped without thought for himself.
I'm truly grateful to you FK. I was smiling away last night at our antics, something I haven't done in a long while.
You are my hero mate, so have yourself a day of good karma! :A
Glad you had such a great day and were cheered up!
I was the same after my few hours with FK the other day, got home and was grinning to myself - nobody take that the wrong way please!:rotfl:
