Morning everybody!
So dark and rainy here again!
Have still not tried the OJ glitch but am really warming up to it now and might push myself to go and try it in the afternoon along with some Sharwoods :jMorning all,
Have resorted to skipping a few pages as no chance of catching up properly
Woke up at 3am with contractions :T They still coming every 10 minutes but not really getting any stronger or closer together so really hoping it's not another false alarm. Just taken some painkillers to see if I can get a bit of rest. Fingers crossed
:j:jGOOD LUCK!:j:j Can't wait for the arrival of another MSE'r!0 -

Woe betide anyone who doesn't eat them in the right order!
Hi TrulyMadly that made me laugh as I do exactly the same thing. It really does upset me if someone upsets my rotation system.Mortgage debt 45,000. Thank you all for your help so far in helping me save to buy the house. I could not have done this without all your help.0 -
Morning elite, well very mixed feelings this morning, my phone went last night about 8.30pm it was a call from my DS, when I answered it all I could hear was him on the other end very distressed, he couldn't speak properley and was in tears, I started to panic as I couldn't get any sense out of him, after about 2 minutes of him being unable to make himself understood, I caught the words "is dead" OMG the fears that went through me were horrendous, all I could think was that something had happened either to his partner or my grandaughter or her son. After he managed to calm down, he told me one of his best friends had been found dead last night by one of his other friends. Godbless him he was only in his late 20s. DS had gone through primary school and high school with him and saw each other on a regular basis. Anyway mixed feelings because the sense of relief that came over me when I found out my son and his family were all safe were indescribable. Then felt bad that I was releived and started to think about his poor family. DS is in for a few tough weeks. I know your children are precious but things like this just make you realise how fragile life is. RIP.:(Sorry for being depressing first thing in a morning.
:(Really hope your son and his friend's family are O.K.
Makes you relaise that life can be so short:(0 -

I haven't caught up yet but it seems like FK and Nikki are getting shot down again.
It was me who spent the day with FK yesterday. I've done my fair share of contributing to this forum including appearing three times on Martins show so I think I can be called a regular. However I've been having problems recently so not posting. My friend FK, feeling concerned invited me out for the day, teaching me lots of the tricks that you are all up to at the moment.
I got a load of shandy/lager and wanted to share it with FK but he wouldn't have it, he wanted me to take it and was genuinely happy for me when I said i'd had the nicest day out in ages.
I hurt my back recently and he carried all my shopping. This guy is a gent and without him I'd still be sat at home feeling sorry for myself. I know i'm not the only one he has helped without thought for himself.
I'm truly grateful to you FK. I was smiling away last night at our antics, something I haven't done in a long while.
You are my hero mate, so have yourself a day of good karma! :A0 -

Did I buy the wrong one again???? the ones I bought are
3 day straight
daily miracle treatment (this one does not show on receipt)
straight ahead conditioner.
I can't be trusted to do a shop right, how do I manage with 4 kids lol:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I also noticed the price of 2 apples:eek::eek: £1.23, since when did apples become so expensive??? I have always just "slung 'em in the trolley":eek::eek:
They should have been ok.
It's this one that is oos - John Frieda Frizz Ease Smooth Start Conditioner (250ml).
Strange.:(N1LDA0 -
FK just ignore it;)Who shares out loads of coupons and vouchers, we do;)Who helps people out behind the scenes, we do;)It's just pure nastiness & jealousy and thats my last comments on it and I've only done that because the comments made on there are particularly personal:p
I try to help lots of the mums at school and friends/family, without sounding horrible, those that are much closer to the poverty line then I am.
None can be bothered to put in the legwork, which amazes me, especially as they don't have jobs etc... and some of them spend a few hours a day at the local coffee shop:eek::eek: A few have asked me to get them things when I go.
Now, I enjoy "sharing the love" but begrudge their laziness in getting things for themselves and then worse is their looks of jealousy when I can afford to treat my kids to special things.
After having this rant, I have completely forgotten where I was going with it :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Oh yeah, i'd say 99% of people on this thread are pleased with the "hauls" others have got. FK and Nikkilala, don't worry what others think, You can take pleasure in knowing you have helped someone else, and possibly given them a treat, that at other times, they might not necessarily afford:A:A:A:A:A:A:A:A0 -
Just had APG back for the JF. Bought the same as was on BP's receipt and the computer said no:(
