Evening Elite and still the Plax evaded me, ah well win some lose some. Hope everyone is ok, afraid I have had to do some skipping and have still not caught up so if iv missed birthdays, new jobs, congrats, new babies highs or lows can I apologise now and I will read from here. I havn't been on as my DD1 is having problems with my grandson who is 15 he's been skipping school for the last two weeks and it has all come to a head over the last ccouple of days. Its so unfair, my DD1 will be getting fined, she is at her wits end, she has reported him to school, cooperated with everything the school has asked her to do, but if he says he is going to school he just vanishes into town she has contacted the police to try to get them to pick him up and give him a shock but they don't want to know. He is not a bad lad just very mislead at the moment. Not sure what to do next.:(:(:(

Good evening all, I've been having a really bad day today everything that could possibly go wrong has! Grrrr started the day with this ..


It's my dd's I pod she gave it to me when I took her to the bus stop this morning and when I went to get out of the car it fell out of my pocket!:eek::eek:
I nearly had a heart attack when I looked at the screen

From then on I was running late, got trouted in t's. I bought my nephew a scooter for his birthday and it was too small , so took it back with the receipt to get a refund or exchange and I didn't realise it had gone 28 days since I'd bought it, woman on cs desk flatly refused to do anything, so now I'm stuck with the stupid thing.
Then trouted in w h smiths after I went in and asked could I buy an Argos gift card and part pay with my wh ones, sa said yes but when I got to the tills trout said no.

Everything I went to town for was oos so wated journey, then the car wouldn't start! ( can you see the pattern yet?)
Went home to sort out stuff for dd's birthday and found I've now lost all the cards, banners, balloons and badges stuff that I've bought, then I fell off the chair and hurt my wrist

Then over to the school to pick up my DS to be told I had forgotten to give him his swimming kit this morning so he had to stay behind in school while his classmates all went swimming! :mad:( this really annoyed me as school knows I don't mind ever getting called if anything was wrong or needed, school is about 10 miles from home but they actually have to get the bus to my hometown for the lessons so I could have taken it to him in 2 minutes)

Then had to wait 30 outside in the rain for the school summer fayre as the wouldn't let anyone in the building until they were ready! So I had to leave to get dd from bus stop and someone had blocked my car in!

Then had to explain to my dd about her I pod and she was very upset:(

I've just burned myself cooking dinner so I made some strawberries and chocolate to cheer myself up!


But now I feel sick! Lol

Really sorry that you have had an awful day nahteb. You must have had all your bad luck in one day, tomorrow must be a great day for you!

cattysmum, my ds1 changed overnight into a complete stranger, he skipped school and all sorts. he didn't ever do anything bad but just couldn't get him to understand how he needed to go to school and how important it was. The school automatically text to say if your child is absent, i would phone to say he went to school and should be there but i found his school weren't very supportive and though they must have had this happen countless times before it was my first experience of it and they just seemed uninterested in helping me sort it out.

his punishment was 1 or 2 days suspension, (really couldn't believe this) that just made no sense to me as it wasn't a punishment for him as he didn't want to go anyway luckily i didn't get fined but always felt there was no-one with advice or help .
his rebel phase didn't last too long but was really worrying at the time though:(
