    Morning all!

Happy Birthday Louj101 hope you have a brilliant day!:j:j:j

I feel I haven't been contributing as much recently sorry everyone but I do have a small snippet to share for the "locals".

Mr T Upp£r B04t "extr4" (although I use the term extra in the loosest possible sense) has got the mags but NOT with cello :( , they also have both flavours of £1 lenor....now if anyone knows whether Cu7v3rh0uS3 x or W3$tern Av3nu3 store has the cello mags I would be eternally grateful!

Also A$da C0ryt0n has no stock anymore of the OJ, the end display shelf has been replaced with something else and the normal shelf had very few Don Simons and none with bits so don't make a special trip! Yes I've had a few this week but I didn't clear the shelf honest it wasn't me I was hoping for more yesterday but no such luck!

And I got £4.70 off an A womble last night - the best in ages!

    :T:T:T

Last night the end display had been replaced with a different OJ at my local too but I was lucky to find 3 on the normal shelf but there was just one row for them along with the other Don Simon flavours, so it will sell out very quickly if not much room for stock. :(

Was going to go on a beer hunt, well mag hunt first but I am car less today. Mr Tinyshoes new job means he needs it so much more now. :( And even DD1 needed hers today to go to some training. Even if I bussed it to store I don't think I could manage to carry 7 beer packs back to bus stop and if I got there to find no mags or none in stock I would be :mad::mad:.

Hope the sun stays out as no car means I will have to push mum round to her hairdressers in the wheelchair. At least the exercise will do me good. ;)

Happy Birthday Louj101, have lovely day. :)

I just got well and truly trouted !
Went to Sainsbobs , Joy at seeing 6 beers at last , got the 6 beers and a shandy . Went to checkout , just before it was my turn we had a change of sa's , I saw the first sa wisper to the new one looking at my beers . Then the supervisor came over and asked me if I were planning to use more than one voucher as they had just had an email telling them they should only accept one per trans. Told her I would't bother then and turned on my heels and left them all on the belt.

That's pants - bad luck! And not what the coupon says. I did get some this morning and although I wasn't trouted, the SA looked very grumpy as I put two lots through and paid with pence. And yesterday there was an abundance of mags, today not one - all cleared. So I wouldn't be surprised if there's rumblings.

Vinegar is great to use in the toilet, the only thing that cleans properly below the water!
Ooh, way cheaper than bleach. Think I'll have to buy a bottle as a test. Thanks for the tips Kadison and Zippy. :T

Manage to catch up now. Having a bit of a bad night, my cousin went running to my mums yesterday with her 5 month old little boy who she'd been feeding and while bringing the wind up stopped breathing & went blue, called the ambulance and by the time they got there he'd come round and back to normal. Took him to hospital but discharged after 30 minutes saying he's fine. 2 hours later rushed him back in with the same and again discharged another few hours later happened again rushed him back and another doctor saw him and it happened a 4th in front of them so they kept him in.
My mums just rung to update me that he had 13 since yesterday, had an MRI scan which shows nothing but sending it to another hospital to look at and transferring him to alder hay tomorrow.

Could be blue baby syndrome. My eldest nephew had it. At certain points he just stopped himself from breathing (little tinker). I can't remember the techniques, but was a simple case of patting him, talking to him, carrying him...until he started to breathe again. It is very scary.....but over time we just got use to it.
Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

Lily contracted Strep B Meningitis Dec 2006  Now seemingly a normal little monster.
Love to my two angels that I will never forget.
  • Don't try to vacuum pack your tent - won't work (well, not by much anyway!). Works with sleeping bags because they have a lot of air in the fabric, same with jumperss and the such, but a tent is canvas and more likely to damage the bags!
    :rotfl:

Well I did end up giving it a go! :o :rotfl:
And it actually worked not too bad. Know what you mean about damaging the bag though, I had to make sure all the zips and metal ring and pin bits were tucked in. Don't know whether it would be worth the hassle though, but I do need to try and save as much space as possible.
Can anyone recommend a tent- absolute novice! family of 5 and not tent putting up skills whatsoever:o- all advice gratefully received:)

Enjoy your last day at work - it is a long time for you to be there :T

Ooh, that's a good idea re: the cravendale voucher from A cash machine. Not just a pretty face are you AngelsMadV? :p

Crikey, I'm just catching up so not read any further updates yet. I hope he is ok, how scary for your cousin. At least he is in the best place and being monitored. Sending you a hug and best wishes for good news.
    Thanks tigerwhite :D

    morning guys and gals :)

just a heads up...I've been to Sainsbobs this morning to see if they've restocked on the 50p Loreal etc (I got a few yesterday!)...and all the SELs have changed to £1 and £2 and this is what they scanned at :(

I asked an SA who said she wasnt sure why, but they'd had lots of new stock in which had been priced wrong - maybe this was some of it?

I didnt scan any of the other bits (Pantene, H&S etc), but the SELs had been changed on those too :(

This might only be local, but if it was mispriced then I'd imagine it would be national.

Just make sure you check the prices before paying!!! :D
hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!
