OK here's the cake, thankfully it tastes a lot better than it looks!

Kadison's Hummingbird cake (made with mashed banana and pineapple). No Hummingbirds were harmed in the making of this cake!

Does anyone know if the garage are legally allowed to drive my car back to me without mot so i can put it in my local one i trust?

    sorry for rant:o

Don't know if this has been answered but if you book your car in for an MOT on the day it's due for return, you can drive it from them directly (using the shortest route) to the MOT test centre witout the fear of prosecution.

    Hope this helps. :j

Wave to Fudge_cake first of all........

I was in the Extra in Kingsway Dundee and they have these reduced to £1.25.

Its the tea / coffee / sugar canisters from the time for tea range. They are actually a bit pinker in real life compared to the picture of the coffee one here. Sorry tea and sugar not available online.

    http://www.tesco.com/direct/tesco-time-for-tea-coffee-canister/213-2785.prd?skuId=213-2785&pageLevel=

There is also a set of matching cake tins for £1.50 like these

    http://www.tesco.com/direct/tesco-time-for-tea-set-of-2-cake-tins/213-3400.prd?skuId=213-3400&pageLevel=

Then a smaller set of 3 tins for £1.75 which sit inside each other. Not big but not too small either. Unfortunately can't find these online though.

They maybe available in other stores, or even great little presents for those into shabby chic / chintz kitchenware.

I think you've got the wrong end of the stick here.....I think the OP was suggesting Kadison rings her insurance company to pre warn them.

Personally I wouldn't bother and if asked later would say I gave my details as a potential witness only. I'm assuming kadison only gave her name and address and not her insurance details.

I gave my name and insurance company but said it would probably be nothing to do with me. I wasn't a witness, the first I knew about the shunt was when I was sat in the waiting room and this bloke came in telling me I'd caused an accident, the conniving @rse!
