Mr Ts had radox on offer yesterday 4 bottles for £3. My Ts didn't take down the sel, so I got DtD on them:o
Lou- asda have most types of radox for £1. Not free I know, but I stock up on it when it's that cheap or buy one get one, whichever works out cheaper. Evening all. Hope everyone has had a successful whoopsie run, who went on one today.
I got paid 8p to take away 8 punnets of plums from W'rose at lunchtime today,so the Maslin pan will be out tomorrow making yummy plum jam.
I love looking for the deals in w'rose, but am starting to get worried as I wont buy reduced items unless they were already on an offer, ie 2 for £2. It is guaranteed that the original discount will always come off. I dont like to pay for our food unless I really have to!
Hubby thinks I am mad, but it's a massive thanks to all you guys that have got me to be so savvy.
Still no cello magazines in my local, or small lenor bottles:(0 -
OK here's the cake, thankfully it tastes a lot better than it looks!
Kadison's Hummingbird cake (made with mashed banana and pineapple). No Hummingbirds were harmed in the making of this cake!No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

I know my local A is extending there's also.
Bad news for the beer hunting as Mr S has decided (latest so might have changed) not to extend theirs :mad:
Crazy decision IMOapparently Justin wants Sundays to be special still.... What a load of ......
Edit: Most stores aren't extending theirs. Only a small selection.
Just looking around, London Colney are extending theirs. But that store is huge and I doubt many are that size across the country.0 -
Just wanted to make sure that you had all seen the great deal on the grabbit board for Brantano shoes, until 6am tomorrow.
Basically 50% off everything which is full price on the website, including school shoes!
Can get delivery to store for free, £2.95 to home, but you can return items in the post for free if they dont fit.
I spent a small fortune, but hubby is away so he wont know:rotfl:0 -
 opened up all my post from yesterday and today and found letter from insurance company saying that they are holding me fully liable for the accident i had at end of may:mad: i explained to them the details and they have decided its my fault. was turning right onto the A259 from a side road, very busy takes forever to turn right, pulled halfway across as my side clear, sit there for minute waiting for someone on other side to let me in and when someone does wave me across just as i am about to move a car goes round me and my bumper gets stuck in the side of his car, insurance company are saying its my fault as the entire road was not clear even though i pointed out to them that is the only way to be able to turn right on that road during peak time. luckily for me when i did insurance renewal last year i protected my no claims for the first time ever so i don't lose that i'm just annoyed at the fact i'm being held liable and the idiot that went round me won't have to pay any of his excess to get his car repaired whereas i have to pay £400 excess:mad:
annoyingly too they are taking forever to get my car sorted, it took them 6 weeks to take my car for repairs and now they have had it for a week and the mot has expired so now i am going to have to pay the garage that has it to do mot before bringing it back and have no idea about whether they will try to rip me off and try to get more money as was insurance job to start with.
Does anyone know if the garage are legally allowed to drive my car back to me without mot so i can put it in my local one i trust?
sorry for rant:o0 -
I finally found the limited edition lurpak brownie tins in As tonight (2x250g salted butter and a brownie tin for just £2!)
The missus doesn't bake with the salted, always the unsalted, so I went to CS and asked if I could swap the salted for the unsalted and they said yes.
Whoop whoop!
(Is it sad that this kind of thing excites me now?)Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0
