Can I get the shandy & buy a toy to make it up to £20 & get a bm back or does the £20 have to be all groceries?

When Ts add clubcard points they scan receipt barcode to add the points. The S receipts have no barcode. Do they key in receipt details or just swipe your card and key in X number of points?

Also, i wombled a £50 cash receipt and a till spit for 160 pts wys 40. If i said i forgot my card could i get them to add the bonus points too? Just wondered if that was possible as it seems they might have to manually input the number of points

    Any help appreciated

i lost my sains card and had to send off for new one, i sabed the reciepts and they just add up how many are listed on the reciepts and manually add them but they have to get a manager to do it (needs a special code in the till) to my knowledge do dont get bag reuse points or any bonus points if you havent got your card when you do the shop. you only have 14 days in sains to get points added

my card got lost in the post and had to be resent so id got about 5 weeks worth the store had to phone head office and jump through a few hoops to add all the points, i kept hearing her say but shes a regular customer so the shops are definately hers and they had a record their end of me requesting a card twice so they knew how long i was without it.

The rest of your shop doesnt have to be groceries. I bought a pair of trousers (that didnt fit;)) so I dont see why toys would be any different.

If you do make it up to £20 with groceries, make sure you buy 'none branded' items as other branded items may compare and reduce your brandmatch total.

Go for sainsburys home brand items if you buy grocery:)

I am officially signing off from the beer glitch, but will leave it with a song "344 bottles of beer, sitting on the wall, and if one bottle of beer should accidentally fall their would be 343 bottles of beer sitting on the wall" (Or in my garage;););):T:T:T:T)

Very strange - I would have insisted on them fetchng the MOCs back out of the till - if the transaction had only just been done, that must be possible ...

The next problem is that if someone does find stocks of beer in any of their stores then they have to find somewhere to hide them in the store so they can buy them tommorow when the price is right for a BM :rotfl:

I was more than happy with the cash refund of the coupon value! Cut out the middle man.
