I've promised mine some serious hard cash (DS) if he achieves what I expect and gets into grammar school. Other than that, I'll be getting him new bags, books, calculator and all that jazz come this time next September.

A favourite one for a DD would be jewellery I'd guess if you want something that will last. Maybe something showing you're proud like:

thanks - hope to get to shops tomorrow for a good look round

Well being the just occasional poster... no one takes note of me :(

Not enough time in the day to go to work and then come home to read through so many pages and do the shops!!!

But at least thats one contribution from me!!!

Oh don't say that, I quoted your post this morning and other peeps picked up on it - I am sure all bargains are welcomed here and even info on places that don't have something as it can save someone a trip

Lunch time over so back to the grindstone

    Hi Everyone :)

Does anyone have the link for the online Priceflop please?
Yet again neither of my two superstores have any OR know anything about it! You'd think it only came out once every ten years the way the CSA's talk.
  • Afternoon all

Just finished catching up after our weekend visiting friends in London. Proud Mummy moment - our 2year old had to sleep in a proper single bed rather than his normal little bed and managed to sleep really well :j

Driving to London I had to do 25mph on the M3 when we came out of Fleet services the heavens opened and the rain came down so heavily and so quickly it was just sitting on the road and you could barely see anything scary :eek:

Had to have a bit of a detour on the way home - car on fire on the A31 so they had the road closed but it meant we went through the New Forest on the way back and my little man loved seeing the horses and cows :)

Hope everyone's having a good day - we have the rain again after having a lovely sunny day yesterday.

I've given my OH instructions to go to Ts on his lunch break to get some cello wrapped mags as he works kind of next to it (he says there is a cut through he found at the back of his work that is kind of like the wardrobe to narnia, one minute he's at work then goes through a fence and he is in Mr T's carpark :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:) so thank you to the poster who said c4stl3 l4n3 has some
Silence is golden...unless you have a toddler. In that case silence is very, very suspicious!
