Pboro is my nearest Extra and I've not seen any mags at all. I'm guessing i've missed the boat there then
OH asked a friend of his who works in our local superstore and they said they'd had none delivered yet. Not convinced there will be now but will keep my eyes open :)

Yes many thanks to dcon_blue. The problem for us here in NI is that out of 5 stores in the east of the country, only 3 stock it and the one most likely to be a success is a standalone off license. Even though there is a Sainsburys supermarket in the shopping centre for some god unknown reason the alcohol is in a separate unit so you can't top up with groceries.

So in the last couple of weeks we've had:

    Asda - OJ and muller
    Sains - beer & shandy
Ts - lots of cancelled Direct orders :rotfl:

I'm not fussy. I'll take my glitches wherever they may be

Thanks to dcon_blue from me too. Mr S is the same in C'avon WW, separate off licence though it is instore. Think it may have something to do with how they got the alcohol licence, ours bought the pub in the centre so had to have it separate from the main shop. They stock the beer but only 6 at a time, managed 2 lots and topped it up with cheap Mr S wine, none yesterday but heading over shortly to see if theres more today!! Kinda makes up for Ts not having the ssm vouchers.

If anyone is going to M's today could they confirm it's the chilled Welchs juice that is 2 for £1.50. Got a few coupons to use, wish I hadn't left a load on the shelf last week now

Gonna take ages working out 3 different jtd shops :(

It's very strange how it works as no Tesco has a separate offy. C'water used to years ago but they were allowed to bring the alcohol in-store. One rule for one maybe? I heard recently that the Bangor store was awarded it's license after complaint from the yokels but when I tried there, for some reason they haven't put the alcohol section in. Maybe it's being built separate as there's a boarded up building site between the main store and the KFC. It's a pain in the posterior as it is closer to me.

And a massive thanks to pattylabelle. Had to do a Millionaire and phone a friend as I couldn't get out of work before 1pm. Just had a call and jobs a good 'un :rotfl:
