The onles I have found have only 8 lagers on shelf when full so only 1 pers on benefits from this. Same for shandy in 1 store but 2 slabs in another. Only been to 2 stores that stock it. Is this normal?0

Morning all
Thanks so much for all the messages, we had a great day yesterday.
We were really lucky with the weather as it stayed clear until after the steam train rides had finished and the bouncy castle had been packed away.
The only thing that didn't go to plan was the m40 being closed which delayed some guests.
Take care all

The store nearest to me had empty shelves and I asked them to check if any stock out back. There was none, and the guy mentioned that they keep very low stocks of the low alcohol lager as there is very little demand for it - not surprising really. He also said that when stock runs out, there is an automatic trigger to reorder but it usually takes 2 days to arrive. So empty shelves Friday should in theory mean more stock in today, but it may not be much.0 -
I have only found it in superstores as well. The 2 locals had mags but no beer. Forgotto check for the shandy in them but maybe later. Getting addicted to this. It reminds me of the DTD last year in Tesco wne we were shopping 4 times a day (at least). Still have an attic full of toilereries & household items from then. Those were the days.
At least on this thread I feel normal. Would not dare tell my friend what my hobbie is.0 -

I haven't yet, but will be soon as the use by dates are surprisingly short on the ones I have. A couple July and some in August. Only one variety had a longish date (October).0 -
Morning. Wonder who will try the OJ first today? Plan to do a beer run, then and OJ Asda run straight after. Do I chance 10 is the question? Only problem is out all pm so will not be able to input it till tonight to check.
Has anyone checked calories on these. OH on diet & was drinking a bottle a day on OJ & couple of lagers. Lost no weight & blames me. Told him he should have eaten the muller instead!
There is quite the philosophical question for a Sunday morning - the wait until the shops open at 10 is going to be a very long one ....
So do you go to Sainsburys first to see if more beer has arrived or will it be too early for them to have put any on the shelves?
And then when do you do the Asda OJ shop - if you wait until 1 or 2 then someone will know if it still works for apg purposes. But by that time there might not be any left in store ....“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0
