I drank one of the Bavarian beer tonight, purely to test it out for the good of the thread :rotfl: - not bad really. In fact bloomin great cos it was free :T

Yep too right and they close tomorrow at 4pm for a week or so, I have cleared a space in the freezer for all those bargains tomorrow, I hope.

Ha. I was in there today and i was told anything with monday or tuesdays date on would be reduced and anything with a later date will be taken to l***hborough T's.

Better make sure I get in there first then, I normally do the 3 anyway, if it's anything like the last fiasco, they delivered it all and reduced it all by 50% because they had too much stock and not enough room.:D

That's what they did when they closed one down here for a refurb.
They reduced stuff with 3 days to go and the rest of it was shipped to nearby branches.
A guy there told me that lots of Sainsbobs will be doing this, not because they want to revamp the stores, but because the chillers and freezers will soon no longer meet EU regulations.

My store was due to close at 6 oclock on the Monday but they did the big reductions on the Sunday ....there was nothing left on the Monday
