I should add that whilst I haven't posted in the last 2 years, I have been lurking from time to time and I did of course manage to take advantage of Tesco's generosity during the original DTD Price Check last year. LOVED seeing all the photos at the time of what people had got and hearing all your stories, you put me to shame! :T

Looking forward to joining in with the chat again and sharing any bargains or glitches that are hopefully found!

good morning folks

i've tried 7 stores over the phone or in person (all extras that normally stock the Ts mags)....and only 2 have them in...yet was told they arent in cellophane wrappers....

now this leads me to believe....on the back of most other people reporting the same thing....that the booklets are being removed from the cellophane wrappers and the mocs being taken out by naughty Ts staff

would it be toooooo picky to contact HO about this? IMO, I think its wrong that the staff get to decide what we, as customers, are allowed to have...and taking them for themselves is surely wrong?

I have one last store to try in person,but wont be able to get there until tomorrow....and if they dont have any, or the mocs have been removed, I think I will be contacting Uncle P

I think you're right to contact HO and let them know your findings. I do not think they would be happy at all about staff deliberately removing things like this.

Love poppy seed heads..do you collect the seeds then re scatter..I've got loads of these now all from a handful of originals.

On the subject of cancellations, 10 days before their wedding, My DD no.1 and her fianc! have split (and she's two months pregnant) because he thought it would be a good idea to sign up to a "adult friend finder" site 10 days before their bloody wedding (and created a profile)!

I guess I should take comfort from the fact that I've only lost a few hundred quid and not a daughter to a man who clearly doesn't deserve her. I feel like ripping his throat out! :mad::mad::mad:

Does anyone need 5 wedding suits, a dress, a cake and some flowers next Friday?! :rotfl:

Went to my Mum's yesterday and she has loads of different poppies in her garden, and wanted pictures of the different ones, plus the heads. May upload some flower pics too, although difficult to photo in the breeze.

She scatters them, and gives heads/seeds away too

I was just wondering as a "hypothetical" (I have not done this, so please don't shoot me down in flames!!!:eek::eek:) what with the club card points quarter due out shortly, what would happen if you were to buy ink get the 500 points and after the mailing being sent out, returning said ink as the wrong type? How would they take the points back:huh::huh::huh::huh:
