How much did you get back? By my working out you would have paid £7.70 but got a DTD of £11.40:eek::eek::eek: Run everyone;)

I'd get right into this if I thought the PricePRomise changes had stopped my succesful house-filling-full-of-free-shopping business but it hasn't.

Doing things like this seriously raises your profile. I'm careful now about that and won't be doing it until the free-shopping ends! :o

Great result to those that do it though. A shame that Tesco don't honour their own policy automatically without the troutishness.
I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

I agree it does raise your profile but diet coke is something I buy every week and if I saw the SEL's for it on 3 for £2 I would genuinely stock up, so it would be a genuine DTD. I'm not a great DTD'er because I can't be bothered with the grief, so tend to pick mine wisely or send Mr lala;)I'm more a glitch, wombling & coupon kinda girl:T:T

That's correct. You should've paid £2 but paid £7.70 therefore was overhcarged by £5.70 = £11.40 back. No idea where they get the extra 8p from! :money:

I normally send the wife (opposite to you) to do the DTDs. She got me 30 x 4 packs of Napolian tomatoes once when they had the sign wrong. It said £2.44 BOGOF when it should've been £2.44 Less than half price. She got them all free in other words. She said she got trouted and asked why so many - her response "My husband runs local dads group who meet for breakfasts. This came out of their budjet to last them a year". She was telling the truth too! :rotfl::A DTD eventually given.

My best was 4 stores x about 50 jars of homepride in each. Only one I struggled with others accepted and caved in. To date I have only been flat refused including by the CEO's office once; I don't go in that store anymore.

Why would I want to raise my profile when I do about 15 vouchers a week! :rotfl::eek:

It's funny though we all have our own little things we like best, I can't believe I'm not "doing" T's much at the moment as preferring wombling in A's;) It's actually been a relief not to be going to T's as much, saying that I'm on the hunt later for the new coupons in T's;)
