i kow we are having a love affair/fling with asda at the moment, but if you want cheap milk sainsbobs is the place to go cravendale 1 lt is £1 but there is a 50p coupon in their mag, which is by the front doors. cravendale lasts for a lot longer than normal milk.

    Problems:
    1. Using a clubcard other to the one on the reciepts can give away a lot of info to Tesco. Not only can they see that the person who is buying is not the person redeeming, you are also at risk at the till as the reciept does not match the rtd (if the rtd had the cc number on it).

    2. Inputting the reciept with the reciept clubcard number also has its problems as although both rtd and reciept will match, if they ask for a clubcard to redeem, this obviously wont. Although I don't know if they are asking for the clubcard to redeem, or just to input?

If over time it is not the case they ask for they clubcard on redemption, then the nine imput method looks good....

    Your thoughts?

    1) a) The voucher does not have the Clubcard used details on it. b) what do I care if Tesco see that clubcard person a is using clubcard person b's voucher? This has been done a thousand times in the past (see my psot RE clubcard vouchers).

    2) There is no T&C stating you need a clubcard to use a voucher. The barcode (news just in) just scans at the till and that is that. No clubcard required. If one is, I bet (yet to be proven) presenting any clubcard will achieve the desired goal.

    3) My thoughts - (some) Tesco employees are incompetent (or just don't care) or well under trained.

    - even worse after midnight when they seem to turn 1/2 the lights off:eek:

:rotfl:After midnight :rotfl: I'm taking my mother out for the weekly shop she won't go after 3pm in case she misses Deal or No Deal I only go to supermarkets late at night if I go on a raid with Lala

Ooo thanks for this. The wife likes the filtered stuff (of which Cravendale is). I shall have to get down to Sainsbobs and load up.

And I still haven't been to Asda! :rotfl::eek:

I have been having a lot of stress with my Mum recently and have been feeling quite low and poorly. Well last night I was looking at my eye as it had been sore for a few days and it was quite bloodshot. When I looked closer there was a large eyelash stuck on to the white part of my eye. I tried to get it off but it was well and truly stuck. So I went to the doctors this morning and they sent me to the opticians. I got an appt this afternoon and when he looked he said the eyelash had pierced through the outer layer of my eye and he was worried I had scratched the cornea.
He put in some anesthetic drops and then managed to get it off with a sort of cotton bud.
I was really freaked out as I had 4 eye ops in 2002 for detached retina and I am really frightened when my eyes are touched.
    Still all is well now.

Rose that must have been really scary for you bringing back memories of your last eye ops, glad all is well K.

I got asked for my clubcard when redeeming a pricecheck voucher a couple of weeks ago even though she had already scanned it at the start of my shop. She had to wait while I rummaged through all my pockets till I found it.

Sorry - just had an APG from this morning and the OJ is now showing as N/A. Might just be this area but looking like they have fixed it.
