Can anybody please confirm if the orange juice at A is still comparing with T

    Many thanks x
  • Can someone who has done this give me a notional shopping basket please as I'm not sure about the 8 items thing. Done wombling but never actually done a targetted shop in asda! Thanks.

I think the key is to keep your other comparable items cheap - how about:-

1 x Smart Price mushy peas (tin) 6p
    1 x Smart Price chicken noodles 11p
    1 x Smart price batter mix 7p
    1 x Smart Price custard mix 7p
    1 x loose small tomato (say 12p)
    1 x loose small onion (say 10p)
1 x handful of loose mushrooms (say 10p)
    1 x loose banana (say 12p)

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong!! :rotfl:

off topic, but might be useful... DH is a computer geek of sorts and he said that Google is coming out with a competitor for the ipad, but it is £150

    Computer geek?! Moi? :D:p

Not a direct competitor for iPad as it's 7", but the Google Nexus looks a decent bit of kit for £159, especially if you're already sitting on the Android side of the fence with your phone.

What I do FK to make up the shop is check the details on other receipts and see what has matched. I might end up with a couple of cans of carp just to make sure I hit the eight different items but usually stick a couple of more in just to make sure they compare.

Also, for a targeted shop I go on my supermarket to see what is on offer at T's then buy it in A's that way I'm guaranteed to get it for less plus 10%. I also check A's & T's site just to make sure the prices are correct on mysupermarket

While I remember, its my lil one's 2nd Birthday in September and im just starting to get organised (well actually it nearly all done as im an organising freak lol). He's obsessed with Buzz so we are doing a Toy story party, Does anyone know what the likely hood of me finding any of the stocking party bags is if I hunt around all the local T's??? im guessing quite slim but wondering if anyone has spotted any lately so I know wheher to bother stalking all the local stores :P

Welcome Nikkinoo to the madhouse, I hope you will enjoy it here.
 Toy Story stockings, I'm not sure you will find many of these around now, sorry. I only have a princess stocking left, but perhaps somebody else might have an idea of where there are still some Toy Story ones left ;)

I vaguely remember someone saying the yoghurts count as different items if they are different flavours?

    Morning everyone :)

Just popping in to give the most ENOOOOORMOUS thank you to Scarlini and worry-wart. Scarlini I love you, a most brilliant find - 10 litres of "free" premium orange juice tucked in my fridge and I will be returning for more today (they have shelf life of a couple of months and it is good stuff) - hope the APG continues to compare :D but not bad value even if it doesn't. Like you say, the only problem is finding fridge space but that is a very nice problem to have :) And thank you worry-wort for the Muller tip, as each flavour counts as a comparable item :) I really do love glitches like this on relatively healthy stuff that we need anyway :beer: I'm back off to A this morning .....

Glad someone else has taken advantage. I literally have no space left in the fridge :o

Sorry just notied FrenchKnickers posts as I type this. If you give me a few minutes, I'll give you some more information pet.

I've registered on OU to do a degree. I've had a lot of inspiration from you guys recently, an email from them this morning and for some reason, a sudden desire for my parents to see one of their children graduate. Fingers crossed I can do it. Been a long time since I did any studying, especially on that kind of scale.

    Scary stuff :eek
What a brave step to take QofC - well done to you. :TI'm sure it will be lots of hard work but you should give yourself a pat on the back for taking the first steps. What subject are you looking at? (I'll prob find that out when I read on and catch up from last night! - I did, it's natural sciences :-) )

Afternoon all - had a lazy one so far but popping out to Next and T later. Just printing off a "few" vouchers :T
