Just an observation about whiplash

My wife got whiplash on the bumper cars at a theme park after a fairly fierce bump from behind
How come if you so much as touch a car in a car park or at a junction at 1-2mph you get shafted with multiple whiplash claims and yet how many thousands of people every day are getting whacked left right and centre on the bumper cars? Do they all claim whiplash?
Wife is pretty upset and sore but I told her to calm down dear, it's bumper cars, you expect to be bumped. but still, it got me thinking about the whole whiplash malarky. We didn't take the drivers deatails!

Yes, perhaps your wife can find out whether their were any relevant legal disclaimers on the bumper car ride and if not contact a NWNF company to see if she can make a claim. ( Only joking, but there are people out there who might think about this).
My experience is that pretty much everyone will make a claim if they can and some are people who you would think would be against this, have actually just joined in with all the other people taking the p*ss. This is on the basis, that they have been on the receiving end of ridiculous claims and it is therefore revenge in some way, against an industry that does not do enough to weed out unnecessary claims. The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.0
