Neo-liberal institutions are tottering and falling at every turn, and the paymasters of the bourgeoisie can barely keep up with the endless revisions to a system that is as broken and discredited, as it is bankrupt on its own terms.
Change is coming.
The people are looking forward to a better tomorrow!
Today, 164 years after Marx and Engels wrote about grave-diggers, the truth is almost the exact opposite. The proletariat, far from burying capitalism, are keeping it on life support. Overworked, underpaid workers ostensibly liberated by the largest socialist revolution in history (China's) are driven to the brink of suicide to keep those in the west playing with their iPads. Chinese money bankrolls an otherwise bankrupt America.
The irony is scarcely wasted on leading Marxist thinkers. "The domination of capitalism globally depends today on the existence of a Chinese Communist party that gives de-localised capitalist enterprises cheap labour to lower prices and deprive workers of the rights of self-organisation," says Jacques Rancière, the French marxist thinker and Professor of Philosophy at the University of Paris VIII. "Happily, it is possible to hope for a world less absurd and more just than today's."

i can't wait for the coup and the installation of a brutal military dictatorship to oppress the living daylights out of us, whilst telling us that we, the workers, are now in charge.

Ursula K LeGuin's "The Disposessed" is supposed to be the most realistic depiction of how a truly communist society might work. It's very thought-provoking and worth a read even if you're not into SF as she is a very lyrical writer.
Such systems can only work if everyone involved is up for it. If it has to be managed through dictatorship and emphasis on the military (as in every example tried around the globe thus far) then it's flawed. They are an EYESORES!!!!0 -
Yeah cause you know like socialism is the proven solution for economic success.0

Nostradamus once wrote about the yellow race will inherit the world.....................
With their economy, population, mandarin being the most spoken language, could it possibly be foretold that the Chinese would dominate the world (in commercial terms at least):wall:
What we've got here is....... failure to communicate.
Some men you just can't reach.

What about all the predictions that Nostradamus made which turned out to be complete rot. Pretty sure he predicted that the m6 toll road would be a great success.0

I can't envisage the prediction being as specific to mention the M6.
I think you are fishing or have interpreted it wrongly.
The thing about Nostradamus, is that people tend to take events and try to link it up with a prediction.
My comment was about China's emerging superpower capabilities given the strength of their economy against other countries in the world.:wall:

I can never work out if you have no sense of humour, or a very keen one.0
