If you have a car with the Disabled Tax disc will this be an issue for a insurance quote ?
Should the insurance company be informed when this happens ?

Do you mean you have a disability? whos is the tax?

Edit to say...since the tax is for the benefit of your wife and she is not driving then the insurance dont need to know.
    Be Alert..........Britain needs lerts.

The tax status of the vehicle shouldn't affect its insurance status, however if any of the drivers has a disability which has to be reported to the DVLA then this is something you'll usually have to tell the insurance company as well.

Thanks for all the replies Folks , maybe should have been more detailed in my question :o
Car is mine , o/h is disabled and in the HR mobility so disabled tax is available when required , insurance will be coming up for renewal end of month and wondered if this would be a factor but from the replies it seems not
    Thanks :)

It won't, you won't be asked and won't have to skirt any issues.
Why would it to be honest?

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed
