Do you mean you have a disability? whos is the tax?
Edit to say...since the tax is for the benefit of your wife and she is not driving then the insurance dont need to know.Be Alert..........Britain needs lerts.0 -
insurance company no need .However you must be either disabled or use the car for a disabled person to leagley have the tax .
If you were not and had a prang then your driving with out tax0 -
The tax status of the vehicle shouldn't affect its insurance status, however if any of the drivers has a disability which has to be reported to the DVLA then this is something you'll usually have to tell the insurance company as well.0

Thanks for all the replies Folks , maybe should have been more detailed in my question
Car is mine , o/h is disabled and in the HR mobility so disabled tax is available when required , insurance will be coming up for renewal end of month and wondered if this would be a factor but from the replies it seems not :beer:
