Did you state in your listing that you would not accept paypal from unverified accounts or dispatch to unconfirmed addresses?
I state in listings quite clearly that payments from unverified accounts or dispatching to unconfirmed addresses. I then offer to refund their payment via paypal and offer alternative payments such as cheque, postal order or bank transfer.
I've had to deal with 5 or 6 recently and all were happy to arrange alternate payments, and apologised for not reading the listing. Just hope the buyer who I just emailed will be ok about it too!!Do You Twitter?

the buyer I mentioned in the previous post has been in touch to apologise for having unconfirmed details. He now says he has confirmed his address, but the paypal transaction still says unconfirmed, so where does this leave me?
Anyone?Do You Twitter?

You'll have to refund and get him to pay again - the status of the first payment won't change. My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
