We have become aware of a company trading as 'Welcome Loans UK'.
THIS COMPANY IS NOT CONNECTED TO WELCOME FINANCE IN ANY WAY.
We have written to Welcome Loans UK warning them that customers are at risk of confusing the two firms.
We would advise customers to be cautious when dealing with any lender who asks for some sort of payment or 'insurance' before an application is processed.

Yes theres a message on the site about that as someone linked to it as another poster asked the same question as the OP, here we are

They put a cookie in your pc when you go on the website.
As a ip address they are not allow to trace you under computer misused act 1990
These loan brokers are mencing towards you. If you be threaten from them just contact the police straight away including the letter from them. or a solicitor or CAB.

Yes, you are correct...I made a mistake with the comapny name. It is not Welcome Finance but Welcome Loans that have stung me.

They have replied to one of my emails advising that I have to write to their "Legal Compliance Auditor" in order to find out where my money is!

They have since ignored ALL further emails.

I intend to contact CAB tomorrow to see what they suggest but in the meantime any advise would be much appreciated...
