I stupidly fell for there scam of charging a fee for doing nothing.
I looked on there site at consolidation loans, asked for my details so any future loan could be paid, all looked above board
I was then contacted by a dodgy looking loan company and thought something looked odd,a broker who charges me a fee referring me to another broker who charged a fee?
I contacted them right away and said i didnt want a loan or any other service from them
Today they attempted to take £69.95 from my account but my bank has said they cant dispute the payment!
Ive arranged for any future payments to go to a different account and ive blocked my card, but now what? is my money gone forever?
(there was only about £15 in my account its been emptied and there payments still pending im now also overdrawn with my bank)
All contact with them has been ignored
Anyone been in a situation like this or with this company? any help would be greatly appreciated

http://www.wfs.co.uk/Welcome Finance is no longer taking applications for new loans
Which website did you randomly give out your bank details to?
You're on benfits and already buried under Payday Loan problems, how did it seem a good idea that you could take out more loans?
How did you ever think you would be accepted by a decent lender?0 -
IMO people who recieve benefits and applying for loans have already got it in their head that they're going to do a runner no matter what, and losing £60-70 on admin fees from these loan clown companies is a massive dent in someone's pocket especially If they are on handouts.
And when caught short they come on here for advice.0 -
I was trying to get a consolidation loan apple so i could reduce the overall interest i was paying on the seperate loans.
I finally got through to them and they have said to write to them to get a refund, and according to my bank they deal with this complaint quite often.
As of now my cards blocked and all payments changed to a different account as im actually scared they will keep taking money, lets see if i do get a refund as the research ive done on this cowboy outfit seems to point to me never getting a refund.:beer:0 -
And you applied on the website I linked earlier? The one which doesn't accept loan applications?0

Maybe you should do a SOA and post it on the dfw board.0

Also from the link posted by Apples2:
We have become aware of a company trading as 'Welcome Loans UK'.
THIS COMPANY IS NOT CONNECTED TO WELCOME FINANCE IN ANY WAY.
We have written to Welcome Loans UK warning them that customers are at risk of confusing the two firms.
We would advise customers to be cautious when dealing with any lender who asks for some sort of payment or 'insurance' before an application is processed.0 -
So the OP never got a loan via Welcome Finance but maybe it was via Welcome Loans UK.0

Exactly, we need to understand what op did before helping0
