Ninth Anniversary 100 Posts Combo Breaker
I have one of the above in a container in my garden and some of the leaves are going brown,can anyone tell me why, and if there is anything to be done about it.

    Usually over watering and/or over feeding. it needs to be potted up in a free draining mix of compost and perlite or similar. This palm is not hardy and is very unlikely to survive the winter outside in the uk.
  • If your getting as much rain as I am, you might need to tip the excess water out of the pot and drill more holes. Maybe put a brolly over it!

    My sister complained her pots were waterlogging (not into gardening like me) so I advised her to get little feet under 4 not 3 they fall over !!, So can drain better ,all o.k. now, Your palm will need winter protection .
    Do I need it or just want it.
