Large Driveway

I have a 27m by 7m driveway running down the side of my house. Its concrete and all cracked and looks awful. Its driving me mad as it so prominent in my garden.
So I have started to look into how to make it look as neat as possible as cheaply as possible.
I only see myself at the house for another 2-5 years so dont really want to spend megabucks, any tips or advice on how to take things further would be really appreciated.
PS: We are not afraid of hard graft and have a week off in August so more than willing to get our hands dirty to save on costs.

I have seen the pictures and sent you a pm, bad news I'm afraid and beyond repair, sorry0

I've not seen any pictures, but my parent's concrete drive was in a pretty bad way, and they had an epoxy and pea-sized pebble coating done on it last year and it's still looking really good.
In absolute terms it wasn't cheap, but it was cheap compared to any form of re-laying...
I believe you can DIY, but you need to be really organised, as the epoxy base hardens fairly quickly.0 -
Just a thought, if its slightly lower than the garden you could gravel over it. That is a long drive though so anything you do using bought in labour is going to be costly.0

in my veiw if the drive is kn*ckered the best solution is to dig it up and replace, by far the cheapest would be gravel as you can do this yourself easily, you would need a roll of terram / geotextile membrane from a proper builders merchants, then 2 20t load of MOT 1 and a 20t load of gravel (your choice - this will determine the cost) This would give approx 100mm of stone and 50mm of gravel. Don't buy it in bags! Hopefully the concrete would be 150mm thick so lift concrete organised a grab wagon to collect (3 / 4 loads at a guess) and hire a wacker plate or roller to compact the MOT from a tool hire place0

those are good, its just more cost, with some of those products it can be as cheap to get a 50mm thick concrete paver block0
