Am late to this but I used to work for a Turkish property company and would advise you against purchasing at Horizon Sky.

It is a lovely area, but it's a pain to get to and there is NOTHING here. No shops, restaurants - only what is on the complex. There are loads of resales here from people who have realised just this.

People are attracted to the resales because they're going for a song - but you have to ask yourself why they are so cheap. Stick to one of Turkey's more lively areas, especiallly if you want to make some money renting your property out.

Never buy in Turkey, it is a corrupt property system, we lost over £40,000 and the courts, solicitors are just as corrupt.

Google Turkish tapu scam, honestly please don't do it, it's a world of pain waiting for you!

Triker - if you get a good lawyer (recommended on the British Consulate site) before you buy there is no need to fall prey to the Turkish tapu scam.

The problem is that most people don't do their research. They believe that they can get a decent property for next to no money and they believe whatever they're told by corrupt developers and agents. And they're not willing to shell out a little extra for a decent solicitor before they buy. I've seen it time and time again, unfortunately.
