i can never decide what i think of buying-for-ebay buyers. at the end of the day, if i buy 3 of something for nieces/nephews xmas then its me saving money for my family. them buying lots and selling them is also making money for their families. so its kind of "do what you can" for your family. but, when i come to buy something and they have none left because they are all sat on ebay, that really annoys me. and i personally would never buy to sell. hmmm will just stay sitting on the fence on this one and hope i dont get splinters methinks :)
  • Fireman Sam Jupiter's Alphabet rescue £18.99 at mothercare price matched to £4.49
    Hi

The item number at mothercare is 131723 where the fireman Sam alphabet toy is 18.99.

Mothercare will only price match it to the Argos price of £4.49 if you can show them it's in stock either online or at a branch- anywhere.

At the time if posting, it is in stock at the Whitchurch branch of Argos. I quoted the postcode of the branch which is SY13 1DW. I also gave the Argos item number 9365045 and she matched it straight away!!!!

Call mothercare landline number on 01923 240365.

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: For legal reasons I have to discourage swapping, buying and selling on the forum (please see this rule). While it can be a very useful way of saving money it relies on a certain amount of trust between members and as such can cause problems (and has in the past). Seller is not listed as a business seller, yet has clearly bought these things with the intention of re-selling.

Puts me off posting deals on here, I don't want to work for eBay and associated locusts, boot fair scratters or similar.

I have posted previously that I think Grabbit access should be limited to those who post a certain number of 'thanked' posts per year/month only....
  • Missed out on all the cheap T toys coz my whole £40 order got cancelled ... Missed out on all these Argos ones too coz am skint right now , so hoping for the ''next'' great price drop on toys as yes it is gutting to miss out BOTH times but if even every dog has its day then I will too and I'm not a dog!!! lol .... Here's HOPING they as in any retailer do ANOTHER great MEGA clearance on toys for me so I can benefit next time or rather get some lovely toys for the Grand kids as I soooooooooo wanted a CHEAP TRIKE and seeing them selling on Ebay for highly inflated prices already doesn't help those who missed out or have no stock near them feel ANY better!!
