The lady didnt check about stock near me. I think they just check the price on the argos website.

I didnt think I would get the lift off rocket as it is not available for delivery at argos either, but she said she had price checked it yesterday so didnt have to check the rocket. not sure if I got lucky:j

i called mothercare and got the same response, they wont price match unless its in stock for home delivery

gutted, i want the rocket for my sons birthday but money stupidly tight as husband on pay cut and im only just back after maternity... evil mothercare lol

If an item is out of stock, it is worth people checking online tonight after store closing time. Items that were reserved yesterday have to be collected by end of today. Some people might not collect in time in which case items may go back in stock.
My local closes at 5:30/6pm and at around 8pm, their stock gets updated and I find things become available. Worth a shot!

i reserved a chuggington remote controlled wilson yesterday for store pick ending today, but my daughter bought one too so wont be going to collect it .if anyone interested,it should go back in stock end of today , its gallagher retail park coventry
