Thanks Alan for that useful post, i've added to your "Thanked" score. I know how much that means to you. :T
That's the second thank-you that you have given me. The other one was in the original thread. Not bad for someone who, in your opinion is one of the "people who arent here to help but just to pick fault with topics posted,..."0 -

Hmm, sarcasm too.
Why not just take the advice given regarding adding to your original post and say thank you ? You're just making yourself look stupid. I can see why dr_adidas01 said what they did, you don't come across very well really.0 -
My apologies to alanq for mistaking him for the comment made by meer53.
Having read back on your previous thread "Nationwide Fraud On Debit Card (Are they breaking the law?)"
The fraud you alleged happened via your card, one of the reasons that Nationwide maybe thinking that it is you whom have made the transactions is:
A) The card was used via chip and pin method, meaning that the card was used in a terminal and the pin was entered correctly, which would mean that it was you whom entered the pin.
It was done via the card holder not present method, which needed your long card number valid from and expiry date and also your 3 digit card number on the back. (this method you can challenge as someone may have cloned your details). Though you would have to prove where and when this happened.
C) It was done online which would also need all the details as in be, plus the verified by visa details that you have to enter when using your Nationwide debit card. Again these details should only be known by you.
Have you asked Nationwide how the payment was made via your card?
They may also be suspicious of the fact that it happened after you got paid on the Friday, as it would seem odd that it happened straight after being paid.
Also looking at the PSD information it states:
Where a transaction is found to be unauthorised, the PSP has an obligation to immediately refund the amount of the transaction and, where applicable, restore the account to the state it would have been in had the transaction not happened.
It doesn't state that where YOU!! think the transaction is unauthorised an immediate refund should be done. It simply means that if the bank/building society agrees that this transaction is unauthorised then an immediate refund will be done.
I would find out how the transactions on your card were made i.e. one of the methods mentioned above and then make your complaint based on the method used.Time is a path from the past to the future and back again. The present is the crossroads of both. :cool:0 -
nationwide wouldnt write to the company!0

you should go into a branch and ask for a customer statement and see how the transactions were made and then contact the special investigation team0
