i was contacted the other day by this company telling me that i have been charged wrongly by my credit card company, as the rate i originally had would have now gone up with out my knowledge, and i am entitiled to a complete refund including any debt which is outstanding on my card, they would charge my card their fee £495 + 10% of the dept + vat......(my debt is about £4000 and my limit is £10,500, they could effetivley scam my card for the full amount) this would come off my card straight away and they would get a refund from the credit card company, all of it including my debt which i owe.. I did not give out my account numbers or any details regarding me, as i told them i have seen a scam like this. Which she then told me she would send me an email and call me in a couple of days..... well i had no call........... Is this a scam, or am i able to investigate this myself with my credit card company.. please help.......... sam

I was sucked in last October by this company claiming they could wipe 2 loans i had, they took £1589 from me, and i heard nothing for months, when i contacted them they had every excuse under the sun, they then sent me a letter from there solicitor to act on my behave, but wanted more money, which i refused to pay, as was told nothing of this at the beginning, When i told them that 1 of my loans had now come to an end naturally they told me i had broken there contract.
I contacted my credit card and this week received back into my account all the money if full. But the charges i have paid as there payment took me to my limit, i will just have to write off. Do not use this company at all, no matter how convicing they seem..0 -
Now I am worried - normally I just hang up on these calls but we are really struggling at the moment so I thought I'd listen and eventually agreed to them taking an advance payment. I am now terribly worried that I may have made a big mistake. They have taken £2000 that we really cannot afford (effectively enticing me to spend more on my credit card KNOWING i will not be able to afford repayments if nothing happens) I have read very little good about this compnay in online reviews - has ANYBODY had any success with them? If not how the hell can they be allowed to continue to rip people off in this way?0

I am in the same boat. If you dont mind me asking, on what grounds did your credit card company repay the money ?0 -
They're back!!! Please, please be careful people. A former incarnation of this company, Consortium Reclaim, took 2000 off me last year then disappeared. Just had a cold call from Claim Credit Service. The spiel is the same, the address is the same, even the "senior advisor" I spoke to on the phone is the same. Am reporting them to the MOJ now.0
