no response from second letter.

hi, i recieved all my statements from 2 accounts with halifax. ive used the template to send a second letter asking for my money but they havent replied. it says on the template i gave them 14 days but its been 20 days now. what should i do? should i wait longer?

ive searched and noticed lots of people in the forum not getting replies from the first letter but seems im the only one not getting from the second letter.

am worried i done it wrong. what should i do? thanx.

if you have sent the letter recorded delivery, there is no need to worry. Just take them to court using the money claim link on this site

A suggestion I have seen that worked was to get a small claims form from the local court and complete it, but not file it just yet. Send the bank a copy of it and give them a final chance to settle before court. I think they allowed a further 7 days for reply to this. You can simply file the already completed claim if no reply.

when you say take them to court? does this mean i will have to appear in court?

I havent recieved a response to any of the letters I have sent to the HSBC. I file my claim to the court on Fri (16th).

thanx, but i still have no idea what people are talking about. i didnt send it recorded delivary. can i get a small claims court form online? shall i send it agian, recorded this time?
