Missing money

Hello all!

I'm missing £1 from my Lloyd's account. I made a deposit online yesterday with a new card. Is it something called pre authorization, to make sure the card is ok?

Sorry about the brief question, I'm in a bit of a rush...

    £1 is £1, but yes, it will be a pre authorisation which will automatically go back on within a few days.

    I've had the same thing happen a few times, but yeah, basically a 'pre-authorisation' to check card etc is valid. The money kinda sits in limbo for a couple of days then you'll see it back on your balance again. Although it won't actually show as a transaction if that makes sense!
