Budget stores..... bigger sizes

Hi

I have started a one woman quest to try an get cheaper stores like Primark, to stock plus sizes 22-28 ...... as I am sick of paying over the odds for horrid clothes that my granny would not be seen dead in.

I have been sending a weekly e-mail .No response as yet.If you want to join me.................. there is a link on their website for e-mails.

I cant be the only one thats hates being ripped off by plus size shops.£20 for a rubbish plastic belt, E **** you should be ashamed of yourself:rotfl: .

Asda do a good range of plus size t-shirts and tops for blokes...and I find New Look to be really reasonable for plus size clothing for women.

Sorry but Asda do not do things in my size but I am too smal for high and mighty so I am in a no-mans land of fashion at the moment. The only place I can get stuff (cos I owe too much to certain catalogues) is coton tradres but I do get good offers in my email inbox.

My hubby always complains that the asda clothes shrink (nothing to do with his weight.....).

I find the inspire range in new look good - although expensive full price. They have a fab sale on now. I bought a pair of black trousers for 18 a few weeks back went to get some more as decided i did really need them for work and everything was on sale. I got 3 pairs black trousers and a skirt (with belt) for 18 total BARGAIN. I do find there sizes fluctuate a bit and the tops are a bit short for me but its the only place i can get decent trousers.

The other place for bigger women i find there trousers dont fit well and if they do they dont flatter at all - i want to look thinner not bigger!

mark one - again i find there stuff comes up small but at least they try.

If primark did a bigger rang i woudl be in there all the time! lol!!

Peacocks cater for the bigger bird and the stuff is pretty up to date. I have had tone of stuff from there and it has all been good.

I think Marks & Next are brill.
There sizes are generous anyway & their sizes go way up & still cost the same as the "normal" range, indeed you can shop in the normal range.
They don't shrink in the wash.
They are cheaper than specialist shops, with perhaps the exception of Evans - but their quality is MUCH better.

I am so with you on this!!!!
I wrote to Primark when they changed their sizing. I used to buy lots of clothes when they had 18/20 but then they changed it to 16/18 and about 2 granny items in the whole store were 20/22. I didn't even get an acknowledgement. I will join you on the email mission :T :T
