Refunds for faulty goods & being fobbed off by credit card companies

Consumer law still applies, the age, price and mileage as well as the cars service history are all relevent as to whether or not the buyer has a claim or not.If you'd posted this on the Motoring forum you'd be laughed out of court, why would you expect someone else to be responsible for a fault, that can happen on any vehicle, 4 months and 2500 miles after you bought it? There are costs associated with running a car, now man up and take some responsibility yourself.
S75 will certainly not pay out in the first instance but that does not mean the buyer doesn't have a case in front of a reasonable person in court.
The six month rule may or may not apply but the court would decide not strangers on the internet.0 -
Hi All
Thanks for the advice ! for those motoring numpty's that haven't got a clue, to do the valves you have to replace the cylinder head gasket, re-skim the head and pressure test it. in other words it should have been done.0
