Tuesday 3rd July - What small DFW things will you do ?!?
bt1
When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free.
Examples could be hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important! :money:

Morning bt1! thanks for starting us off, I hear you on the NSD front, although I have arranged to have dinner with my bezzie. Might see how she would feel about a swim/run and a sauna and then dinner at mine. I went out on Sat and bought some new shoes and a pair of jeans so now I have a mission to earn at least £50 off of ebay this month to pay off the cc!
Things for today:
* checked banking & cc statement
* boiling an egg for egg sandwiches
* will nip to the SM in my lunch break to buy things off of the shopping list!
* continue playing swagbucks tv while at work :rotfl:
* check onepoll
* stick to diet - have done so bad for the last week TOTM!
* list another couple of things on ebay
* will only take shopping card out with me so I can't nip to the shop during the day (PMT is a begger for making me eat junk!)
think that's my lot. Better get ready! xDF as at 30/12/16

Morning everyone

bt - thanks for starting us off
DNMS - glad I'm not the only shopper in town
I must also try and stick to my diet. I'm good all week but we seem to be busy every weekend. This weekend I have a hen do (again!!)
ziggy - Thank you
I don't feel too bad about it and I have some more overtime to come in which is definately headed for mr cc!
So I was wearing my corset last night, trying to break it in a bit, and though, surely it's more uncomfortable than it should be, and the waist is terribly high? Yup, I had it on upside-down
Turned it the other way up then sat happily for an hour in it! (Until I got bored of sitting straight and wanted to slop on the couch
)
Today's mse things:
Breakfast, lunch and dinner from stores
Charge phone at work
Working some overtime (just had a new project dumped on top of the two I am already working on and only have a week to do it. Not happy.)
Check online banking and check off the weekend's purchases
Stick to diet and keep out of choccy box at work!!
Check cc/bank to see if any of my new statements have come through (usually between 3rd-8th ish)
See about selling some of OH's PS2 games that he doesn't play. He has agreed to it, but I don't know where would give the best price?
Hope everyone has a lovely mse day

Hello All,
It's miserable weather where I am today - where is the summer?! Oh well as long as it brightens up by August when I have two weeks leave - can't wait :j We're not going away anywhere other than planning a couple of day trips. We are planning to move some furniture around and get our house in order though - hopefully will find lot's of stuff to ebay

All meals from stores (the ASDA man came yesterday so we should have enough to keep going for about 10 days)
Check banks
Make a leaving card for some friends who are moving abroad!
Bit of studying if I'm not too knackered tonight. Got an essay to write over the weekend but hopefully that should keep me out of trouble

That looks great, why not make some and sell them, if you are ever short of wool let me know as I'm trying to help mum clear some of her stash. Do you take orders for your knitted teacosies?Goodreads 2025 Challenge :16/75
