Dishwasher Breakdown.....Again

My parents bought me a dishwasher (Hotpoint FDD914) in November 09. It broke down twice during the first year, for a third time around a year ago and yet again it has broke down again I took an extended warranty with D&G.
Each time the same two codes come up and each time I call Hotpoint with the error codes and each time they tell me they cant pre order parts so I have to have an engineer round to look at it, then come back with the parts.
This will now be the 4th heating element that this dishwasher needs. I live in a hard water area but the dishwasher I replaced never had any problems and is still going strong at my friends.
Can anyone advise me how I can go about getting a replacement rather than yet another repair that I have to take 2 days off work to sort.
Thanks in Advance
