AA car insurance

I have been quoted on Gocompare £163 for AA car insurance with only £100 excess for my Polo. Great, I thought. I will go straight to the AA through Quidco to get £26 cashback. Same details put in but comes out at £189 with £150 excess to pay.
How can this be ?

Because they use different rates through Quidco than through price comparison website, that's how the cash back is paid for.0

I now find on the AA site that thier quote has gone up to £240 BUT Gocompare are only £163 with LESS excess to pay !0
