Hi,

As the title suggests, I'm wondering if it's possible to use Guinea pig droppings as a manure?

Compost them down, they are brilliant
Use the wet newspaper and hay in the composter too, to balance the components
I used it for years on mine and the result was a little too much foliage so you may need to balance with a liquid feed for more flowers
You never know how far-reaching something good, that you may do or say today, may affect the lives of others tomorrow

All herbivore manure makes for good compost, but avoid from Omnivores or Carnivores as the droppings from the likes of Cat's and Dog's can spread diseases to children and adults. You can buy special bins to deal with Cat and Dog pooh that filters into the ground, as you can not use them safely.

I mix droppings from our rabbits + their bedding (straw/sawdust) into the compost heap. Gives it some real heat, and the first time I've managed to make anything like proper compost.

They'll just be the same as rabbit droppings so follow the advice for these. I'd personally put the bedding and droppings straight into the compost bin, it will be a wonderful activator.

It is better to compost them first, especially if they have wood shavings in there.
Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.
