faulty car

have had problems with car dealer due to faulty car which we have owned for 2 weeks he has the car we have documents
have had call off dealer today to say we can have money
back but by buisness cheque told him i wanted cash and said it would cost him money to get cash out so he is saying buisness cheque or come and get car back also if we accept cheque he want mot log etc
any help please
