cahoot Post Office deposit gone missing.

I deposited a significant sum in cash into my cahoot account at the Post Office on 21st June. There's still no sign of it showing on my account. Another payment that I made on 25th June was credited within a day. I've checked the details on the receipt and they are correct. cahoot say that they have "passed the relevant information on so that this may be investigated further for you". They also say that they can't give any timescale for resolving this. Most vague and unreassuring. Has anyone had any similar experiences and if so, how were they eventually resolved?
