Seem to charge by the hour and have high hourly rates.0

They are perfect if you need a car for a few hours and live near to a bay. For a daily rate the car hire companies can be better. That said they do have some decent models - Golfs, 1 series Beemers. There have been a few instances of these firms charging people for damage that occurred after the rental. So even though you may rent for a few hours, your liability could in effect extend until the next renter if the car is hit or damaged in it's bay - take loads of pics.The man without a signature.0

i had a bad experience with a car hire company, didnt pay extra for full damage waiver, had a small collision with the car due to long time off from driving. paid £600. so completely got off car hire, had i not i would have taken advantage of zip car to drive a few vehicles just for the fun of it.0

I don't live near enough to the centre I think - I was hoping for some kind of 'drop off' service to my house, VERY wishful thinking!
It seems I'll just have to live a bit longer without wheels...0
