Credit Card advice needed pls.

Hello, I am hoping someone can help me with this. I have 2 credit cards at the moment, i did only want one and tried to transfer a balance from one to the other but they only let me transfer £3000 and so I still have £1200 on my other card and I don't really want two cards so is it best and is there anywhere i can transfer all of the amount and pay on a 0% card and pay it off and then cut it up as I really do not want to have a big credit limit as i will start spending on it.
