Morning all, it's cold here today putting off lighting the fire til the kids are out of school.

Tonights dinner is potatoe and leek soup so nice comfort food.

Went shopping this morning as hubby had teh dnetist so i was waiting for him and spent £12, £5 in poundland on 2 sets of gloves/hats/scarfs, a packet of chewing gum, a bag of sweets for the child and some sukie drinks. Then i spent £7 in dunnes on 2 pairs of boat shoes to put away for the older boys (£2 each down from £8.50) and 3 angry birds hats thats ds had been eeing up at full price (£1 each down from £6).

Now i'm off to the meat place to get tomorrows steaks, i had planned to do a big order of around £150 that will do us right to march, but someone told us about a bargain building site this morning so we're keeping spends to a minium as we don't have enough for so every extra penny we have will be less money we need to borrow. Anyone that knows me knows my opinion on loans and mortgages but it's is a really good price so worth it if it's still avaliable. Keep your fingers and toes crossed for us.

Spent £1.29 at the market, ds got a free banana :) and i got 7 apples and a few mushrooms then i spent £10.85 on a 20kg bag of spuds, 10 clemintines and a bunch of bananas in the farm shop. I have £4.95 left in my purse and that will just have to do me for next week cause i'm not taking any money out, we have lots of fruit and veg so really only need milk and bread.

Hubby was paid so £360 added to my savings, rents due this week aswell, going to nip to town later for some milk, bread and to pick up the kids school bags before tesco send them back (these are for next year)

Ebay refunded me £11 for the snowboots i'm not getting.

I got my first pay but it was a cheque so i'll wait til it clears then add it to my savings.

Put £50 of desil in yesterday.

We're at home for dinner today so we're having the gammon today, going to do it with mash, roasties, yorkshires, cabbage and gravy :) fires lit so other than the trip to town today will be a lazy day.

I just added all my spends up and was really surprised i'd spent over £160 this week, but when you relise £40 was meat £50 was logs and £50 was desil it doesn't seem so bad.I really hope i can still come in under budget i still need

    some general food
    £150 bt bill
£150 for the kids birthday party
    £50 for the kids cake
£100 to order the kids bikes for xmas before stock starts getting low.
    £150 for rent.
£40 for kids birthday hoodies they've requested those specific ones i'd never usually spend so much.
