Ok so now my kids are taking it in turns to be sick, sickly one better and back to school but his brothers off, i had appointments solid today so now i'm sat on the phone trying to cancel.

Last night was expensive, spent £16 in mcd's for the well ones in the family, then so he didn't feel left out £3 on a magazine for the sickly boy, i never relised they were so dear we rarely buy them magazines, i sent hubby, if i'd have went i wouldn't have bought it.

Then i bought some stocking fillers off ebay i spent just under £12 o 12 gifts, 2 of which will be teacher gifts for xmas, better than the usually £5 each we spend :) the rest will prob be kept for next xmas, if so i'll take the money out of that budget to account for them :)

I'm down to my last loaf of bread, i'm going to have to get soem more because ofcourse when kids are sick they need toast to recover :rotfl:

Next months meal plan is done :) and a small starter shopping list :) i got a £50 tesco voucher for £35 and i have a £5 till split so altho my list is £40 it will only be taking £20 from my budget :) i'm being very orangised, i've highligted things i'll be getting from the market and weekly, i'm hoping to get threw the month on less than £50, i will be drawing out £100 on the first and when it's gone it's gone :) all my meals are from the freezer/food i have in except for some veg.

With xmas so close and the kids birthday i will need to be careful with money next month.

Ahh sorry to hear your brood are sick :(

Good luck with your groceries, I'm back on the smaller budget, hoping not to exceed £100 this month which should be do-able given the mountains of stuff in the freezer and cupboards. Ideally would like to spend less than £100 so have some spare cash for Christmas but I'm not sure that will be possible!

I'm hoping to only spend £50 this month, i wouldn't like to limit myself to that tho, good luck with your £100 :)

Unfortunatly the child was sick again so fireworks might be off, we'll see how he goes.

Just paid my creditcard and my next account off :) £220 gone but it means i'm starting next month fresh :)

Lifted some chicken breasts out for tea havent decided what to do with them yet, possibly sweet and sour chicken with rice.

Ordered myself a new phone from tesco mobile, i havent had a contract phone in years, it didn't end well the last time i guess i was young and foolish. This one was a free htc wildfire and then a 24mth contract at £10 a month, with more than enough free minutes and texts for me (who uses 5000texts?) hubby will be swapping to tesco mobile after xmas, he can get the same plan he had on o2 for £15 or one that would still suit him for £12.50, he pays £31 at the moment and hardly uses his phone anyway.

my £1.50 ebay coats just arrived along with my free bzz shampoo, wow those samples are proper bottles!!!

    :o:o:o:o I'm saying nothing :D

I do appear to send around 500 texts a month. I annoy myself if I go over my limit so try very hard not too! Much better than I used to be though, when I was a youngster, O2 suspended my "unlimited text" accounts as they thought sending 1800 in a month was abusing their fair use policy when I was only paying £10 a month. To be fair, my friends used to use my phone too as I was about the only person who had unlimited free texts so it wasn't all me :rotfl:

oops thats a typo it was 5000 lol 500 isn't too bad lol, and i'll prob use a good amount of the 250mins.

I remeber thinking i'll never use 100mins and 200texts and signing up for a £30 a month contract, while living on my own on minium wage, and nealry dying when my first bill was £140, it slowly came down after that because i couldn't pay it, i was so glad when that contract ended :rotfl:

silly thing is there all 5000 even the £7.50 a month plans, have to say they'd be great for teenagers and you get loads of texts and a decent amount of minutes and you can cap the bill :)
