ok i have pulled pork, i went out and turned the slowcooker off i'm only just back and it shrunk loads in the last hr, so i turned it all into pulled pork, i'm going to have most of it tonight as it's quite small now and i've lifted some pasrty out of the freezer and the rest can be a pie tomorrow, not having all the trimmings either i'm afriad just mixed veg, spuds and gravy, has anyone ever tried turned tinned spuds into roasties? i'm not going to put i might try it one day.

ATM at the shop i was at was broken i didn't wnat to put just the firelighters on my card so i got the milk and bread i was going to get tomorrow today instead, and some half price yogurts £5 spent. I did get 25% extra free in my firelighters :)

Morning all, I had to take a small loan from my savings, just £100 for hubby to buy a computer part to fix someones comouter he'll get paid for it tho so thats extra in the savings, and i needed some money to take the child swimming, which will be replaced when my mum pays me back the £50 she owes me.

Today is a busy day, i'm going to do a quick tidy up, take ds swimming then i need to collected the twins drop 2 of the kids off at grannys and take one to physio by the time i get back it will be tea time, so i'm going to make my pie and peel my spuds now.

Tinned spuds aren't nice :( but atleast we know that now, we were happy enough with the dried spuds tho.

Going to nip to lidl for some toilet roll today but nothing else :)

Dinner is pork pie (bulked out with veg/spuds and gravy, i did acually have lots of pork til someone thought it would be nice in sandwichs) mash and cauliflower.

Hmmm... that reminds me. Do not say to visiting relative when they arrive on Saturday "help yourself to what ever you find" because actually I don't mean it!

We don't have house insurance and we won't until we have our own home, theres nothing here that money could replace we couldn't live without, besides it's all whoospies and bulk bought things, i'm slwoly cooking my way threw it. amazingly i think i'll only be throwing out about £20 of food even tho my freezer was full.

It's the exact same freezer as my old one :rotfl: so it just looks clean and surprisingly empty considering how little i threw out.

I've just finished cutting up 10 chicken breasted i cooked over night in the sc, will freeze most of it but keep abit to mix with mayo and sweetcorn the kids can have in pittas for dinner, me and hubby are having steaks after my first night at work :) next into the slowcooker is beef shin with onions and mushrooms, when it's done i'll be mixing it withe peppercorn ssauce and freezing it aswell :)
