I would have thought you'd put the address of your girlfriend's family hoilday house in USA?

Is there a contact number on the Visa application? If so, give them a call and ask them.

Enjoy your holiday, Florida is a fabulous place.
Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it!!
  • As I've said before

...as a word of warning, US embassy are known to refuse people for lack of ties to the UK, even though they meet the requirements for the petty offence exemption. So show strong ties to the UK - job/house/family.

i have strong ties here house, my daughter that lives with me completing her gcse's next year, girlfriend who works who has 2 children here plus she has been back a forth to US over 30 times and always returned i also have an access order for my other two children that i have every other weekend so i would guess thats pretty good ties, i have put a folder together showing finances, ties and holiday information (ie. where we are staying and going) and lastly an acro report detailing my past not that there is much to detail.

many thanks for your help all filled in now and sent just need to go phone the embassy to arrange an appointment which looking at the website the wait is currently 7 calender days so fingers crossed this time next week i may have my visa

just wanted to report back to say i got my Visa and im looking forward to going away on the 16th August, was very nerve racking going to the embassy but with in and hour and a couple of standard questions it was granted.

I took lots of evidence of funds, ties and so fourth but when i got there they wasnt interested in any of that, so was a bit of a waste but i had it to hand just in case.

Thank you to everyone for you help
