Just wire the OBD port to the battery so anything that gets plugged in will sizzle.
Mind you i dont think the dealer will be happy when they plut it in for ECU updates etc. Or when you resell and forget to mention that.

i still think that going into BMW and insutructing that they temporarily remove the port from its current housing and hide it some place new? make a note of the relocation in the manual for the OP to aid them when its time to locate for ECU recalls and updates.
it waont stop them trying to steal it but may prevent it from being stolen so just have some broken glass to clean up and claim for a broken window instead.0 -
